A New Rear End

I picked up the rear end from AZ Differentials today. It looks great and has new 4.10 posi internals, including new axles and yoke. I brought it home, painted the cover and it is ready for brakes.

The old brakes - ew...

I tooks the brakes apart on the old 10 bolt rear end that was on the car and the drums were rusted to the axles. I actually had to open up the pumpkim on the rear end and remove the the the clips from the ends of the axle shafts. Then the drums and axles were removed as one fused unit.

I put the new wheels cylinders on and the rear brake lines. I then installed all of the brake components and the drums, which are really tight - these brakes have really tight tolerances and when they break in, will be perfect!

Count 'Em - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 - YES!
