Rolling Chassis Complete

Well my father-in-law stopped over and helped install the 12 bolt rear end. We put in Hotchkis Multi-spring leaf springs but kept the stock mounting method. Hotchkis wants you to drill out your perches and shock plates and install U-Bolts. No thanks. I got longer T-bolts for the perches and voila - all good!

The brake lines are hooked up and ready for bleeding as is the parking brake cable assembly. I ordered the entire fuel tank assembly today (you'll notice from the pictures that the previous owner had a fuel cell in the trunk) and will install that when I get back from my next round of travels for work and fun.

The engine block was FINALLY delivered today and that will go off to the machine shop to get tanked, magged and inspected. Keep your fingers crossed that everything checks out okay!

Back side of the block

Notice the 3904351? That's a 1967 427!

The JE on the end of the stamping notates a 427/435HP Corvette Motor! Exact for this application!
