Completed Motor

The motor came home from H&H Engines today. Everything looks fantasic and Steve could not have done a better job. The following work has been done:

  • Motor was Mangnafluxed and tanked
  • Cylinders were bored .030 over
  • Block was decked
  • Cylinder heads were decked and given a 3 angle valve job
  • New valves
  • New Hypereutectic 10:1 pistons
  • New H-Bean Rods
  • New Rod Bolts
  • Forged .010/.010 6223 crank
  • Comp Cams Nostalgia Camshaft .544/.539 Lift I/E 276/283 Duration @ .015 Lift
  • Solid Lifters
  • 3/8 CrMo Pushrods
  • Stock Rockers
  • Hi Volume Oil Pump
  • Stock pan and baffle
  • Correct Numbered and rebuilt water pump
  • Correct 840 Rectangle port heads

The work was done perfectly and the entire assembly was balanced and blueprinted.

The work starts tomorrow on the final assembly. Remember that this car came with a 327 so everything must be bought either used, reconditioned or reproduced. The following parts have been ordered for installation on the assembly.

  • Correct 5069 manifold
  • Correct 170 Distributor
  • Correct Coil
  • Coil Holder
  • Pulleys, Brackets, Alternator and P/S Pump
  • All Sensors and hoses
  • Fuel lines and pump
  • Flywheel
  • Many more.......

My Father-in-Law will be coming over tomorrow to partake in the fun. The M-21 Transmission has been sourced and I will be purchasing that as soon as the Financial Committee clears the expense.
