Engine Installation
The Engine has been installed in the car! My brother and a friend came over to help install the engine into the car. It slipped right in witht he Muncie M-21 4-Speed transmission already attached to the engine with a heavy duty GM clutch. The Exact replica GM 621 Bellhousing was bolted on and the engine was bolted in with a Muncie shifter that took some adjusting to get the shifter rods aligned properly. A new GM NOS transmission crossmember was bolted in as was an NOS radiator support.
My Father-in-Law then came by and helped me install the Exact Reconditioned Harrison 23 inch 4 core Radiator. Correct reproduction radiator and heater hoses were installed and the nostalgic Hedman tube headers that are replicas of what Don Yenko put on the Super Camaros were mated to the block. Wiring was installed and is awaiting the battery while the regulator, horn relay and temperature sending unit were hooked up.
